Research interests: Last years my research was focused on exploration of geological structures for CCS in the Baltic Region (storage site selection, sampling, petrophysical, geochemical – wet, carbonate chemical analyses, XRD, XRF measurements, thin-section study –SEM, estimation of storage capacity and reservoir quality/suitability for CGS) and influence of the CO₂ storage in a deep saline aquifer on petrophysical/geochemical properties of the storage formation host rock. Now I concentrated more on seismic numerical modelling to monitor CO₂ storage and fluid flow modelling to predict CO₂ plume migration within the storage reservoir.
